Angular Las Palmas

10-15 Jun, 2019, Las Palmas, Spain

Angular Las Palmas was not a regular training course. It was a knowledge-and-action-packed experience.

We kicked off the bootcamp with a full-day trip into the mountains of Gran Canaria. We went hiking around the Roque Nublo. We climbed the sand dunes of Maspalomas. And we got to know each other.

Over the next 4 days, we were learning Angular 7 in Soppa de Azul — a co-working space for entrepreneurs and artists. The workshops and coding labs were run by Dominic Elm and Kwinten Pisman from thoughtram.

It was inspiring to be surrounded by like-minded people and world-class experts who were always there to help whenever we got stuck.

Angular Las Palmas culminated in a two-day hackathon during which we built Angular projects from scratch.

To recharge our batteries, we took surfing and yoga classes, visited the Old Town for a tapas night and chilled out together at beach-front restaurants.

We believe that removing all distractions of everyday life and focusing for a week on one thing — learning a new stack — allows developers to learn, develop new skills and build projects faster than ever before.
